The Idoma Association USA
IDOMA USA seeks to build bridges between Idoma communities across continents by creating opportunities for members to connect, support one another and contribute positively to the development of their communities. Its work includes cultural events and conventions, educational initiatives and scholarships, community development projects, networking opportunities and partnerships with organizations and institutions.
The Association's work reflects a commitment to preserving Idoma identity while equipping present and future generations to thrive in a changing world. Its community-development efforts have included scholarship support and practical development initiatives such as water-access projects, demonstrating an emphasis on both empowerment and measurable community impact
Mission
We seek to build strong bridges between the Idoma diaspora and communities at home; preserve Idoma language, history, traditions and cultural identity; create opportunities for education and economic empowerment; encourage networking and mutual support; and develop partnerships that produce sustainable benefits for the Idoma people.
Vision
We envision a resilient, united and thriving Idoma community connected across the United States, Nigeria and the wider world—one in which cultural heritage is proudly preserved, education is prioritized, economic opportunity is expanded, and members support one another.
